Bio

Rebekah Gillis Smith holds a Master of Science in Counseling from John Brown University and a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic University. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and is working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Counseling is a process and Rebekah believes that opening yourself to a stranger takes courage. She wants to honor that courage by walking through the therapy journey together. Rebekah believes that the only way to work toward mental health is by building a relationship of honesty, trust, and safety within the therapy process.
Taking an Experiential and strengths-based approach Rebekah values each individual’s story and the unique process that each person brings while discovering their own mental health. Rebekah believes in being straightforward with her clients and encourages her clients to be open and honest with her.
Rebekah uses talk therapy and other techniques and interventions to help adolescents, individuals, and couples express and navigate their way toward mental health.
Rebekah loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her blended family kayaking, fishing, and hiking. She also enjoys family game night and baking in her spare time.
