Bio

Raylon M Wilson is a graduate of Boise State University with a Masters in Social Work. He is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) through the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board, and holds a Trauma Certification via Evergreen Certifications. His qualifications also include a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling through The University of Arkansas. Raylon has over 8 years’ experience when it comes to providing social services to diverse populations. His experiences consist of working with the homeless, trauma survivors, case management, risk assessments, crisis stabilization, independent living services, individual therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy.

Raylon fundamentally provides a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment during the therapy process. He believes these are essential ingredients in assisting clients on their journey of making meaningful change and healing. Furthermore, he believes in taking a cultural humility approach when working with cultures not of his own. Raylon strives to empower clients from an evidenced-based integrative approach that includes concepts of Cognitive Theory (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to assist in processing trauma), Feedback Informed Therapy (FIT), Client Centered Therapy, and Strengths Perspectives. His speciality areas include Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Stress Management, Mood Disorders, Trauma, Grief, Substance Abuse, Veterans, ADHD, and Borderline Personality.

In his free time, Raylon enjoys sports, reading, self-development, weight lifting/exercise, and traveling. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
