Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2014 and went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy from John Brown University in 2018. Being in the mental health field since 2014, Megan has worked in both school-based and outpatient settings. She has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families and being able to support them through seasons of life. Megan specializes in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, family adjustments and behavioral issues.
Megan has training in Play Therapy and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and utilizes these to work alongside clients to reach their goals. She cares deeply about the relationship she establishes with clients and believes it is essential in the counseling process.
Outside of the office you will find Megan doing anything outside! She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, kayaking, traveling, or attending a concert.
