Kathy would love to help you discover your full potential so that you begin to live a more confident, peaceful and happy life.
Kathy works with adults, seniors, children and families. If you (or a loved one) are feeling depressed, anxious, or have sleep disturbances, low self-esteem, relationship issues or are in crisis, she provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which to explore self-defeating patterns or incoherent beliefs to help you to restore harmony to your life. Frequently small changes can have a big impact!
She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and uses many different therapy techniques – including EMDR therapy which has proven to be very effective. Together you and Kathy will choose what approach is best to get you started on a path to healing or change.
Kathy loves to be outside – running, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, swimming, camping and gardening. She is originally from New England, lived in Hawaii for 15 years and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2006. She earned her graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and her bachelor degree in Philosophy at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Kathy has provided therapy to all types of people, in all types of settings including hospital/acute inpatient, intensive outpatient, outpatient, school-based, temporary day treatment and a primary care (rural health) clinic. Her passion is to help people and families to better understand each other and themselves.
