Bio
Colten Johnson is a Licensed Associate Counselor working part-time with Waters Edge. He earned his Bachelors degree in 2018 from John Brown University in Family and Human Services before going on to obtain his Masters degree in Counseling Education with a Clinical Mental Health focus from the University of Arkansas in 2021. He is currently employed full-time as an adolescent therapist for Springwoods Behavioral Health.
Colten’s specialties include play therapy and eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). His experiences thus far include school-based, private practice, and community health services with clients of all ages and presentations. Colten is a trauma-informed therapist who aims to provide clients the space to explore their presenting issues in an accepting, non-judgmental environment.
Colten currently resides in Springdale, Arkansas and spends most of his time relaxing with those he loves most. He enjoys anything social, especially when it involves cooking.
