Sandtray 101

Check our website for updates of our next Sandtray 101 training -- tentative for early 2022!

Description

Expressive art techniques are helpful tools in the hands of licensed therapists. Sandtray is a valuable tool for working with clients across the lifespan. This training is an introduction to the use of sandtray and is designed for the therapist who has little or no training or experience in the use of sandtray. Experiential activities are an integral part of the training.  Participants will build and process multiple sandtrays during the 2 day training. Lecture, group and didactic experiences are part of the training. Attendees will participate in experiential activities that will give them the tools to use in working with their clients immediately.

Each participant will receive a copy of Sandtray Therapy 3rd Edition by Linda E. Homeyer and Daniel S. Sweeny, and a portable sandtray with sand.
