I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and am working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2014 and went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy from John Brown University in 2018. Being in the mental health field since 2014, I have worked in both school-based and outpatient settings. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families and being able to support them through seasons of life. I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, family adjustments and behavioral issues.
I have training in Play Therapy and TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and utilize these to work alongside clients to reach their goals. I care deeply about the relationship I establish with clients and believe it is essential in the counseling process.
Outside of the office you will find me doing anything outside! I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, kayaking, traveling, or attending a concert.
