I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. I earned my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and received play therapy training from the University of Arkansas. I supported community mental health in schools, working with children, adolescents and adults, with a focus on anxiety, depression, grief, transitions, parenting, and trauma. I consider NWA home, but I am originally from North Carolina where I attended North Carolina State University and majored in psychology.
I’ll create a safe and caring space where you learn your worth and discover the life that seems just out of reach. I believe in the transformational power of play and creativity in a supportive environment for children. I use movement, art, sandtray, play, and talk in age appropriate ways to access a child’s inner world and help them gain self-confidence. I incorporate mindfulness to engage and teach children important skills like emotional regulation.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two children, husband, and our two dogs, Bella and Daisy. I love to hike, bike ride, and enjoy the beautiful landscape in Northwest Arkansas. I also love to travel and experience new cultures and environments.
