Due to a serious personal health crisis several years ago I was forced to retire from education. As a result, I sought counseling for myself and learned the power of the healing relationship. I understand the grief and loss process deeply. I believe that the relationship is the key to counseling. I want the counseling session to be beneficial for the client to make any changes that will help the client live his/her desired life. It is important to me to give back to others in the way that others have given to me.
Play is an important part of my professional and personal life. I have a passion for helping those who help others and enjoy training other professionals in sandtray therapy, play therapy, trauma and supervision. In my free time you may find me at the card table playing bridge, playing with my dogs or playing with my 3 grandchildren.
