Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I would love to help you discover your full potential so that you begin to live a more confident, peaceful and happy life.
I work with adults, seniors, children and families. If you (or a loved one) are feeling depressed, anxious, or have sleep disturbances, low self-esteem, relationship issues or are in crisis, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which to explore self-defeating patterns or incoherent beliefs to help you to restore harmony to your life. Frequently small changes can have a big impact!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and use many different therapy techniques – including EMDR therapy which has proven to be very effective. Together we will choose what approach is best to get you started on a path to healing or change.
A little bit about me:
I love to be outside – running, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, swimming, camping and gardening. I am originally from New England, lived in Hawaii for 15 years and moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2006. I earned my graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and my bachelor degree in Philosophy at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
I have provided therapy to all types of people, in all types of settings including hospital/acute inpatient, intensive out patient, outpatient, school based, temporary day treatment and a primary care (rural health) clinic. My passion is to help people and families to better understand each other and themselves.
