About:
In Demystifying Eating Disorders, we will break down some of the most common myths about eating disorders, what signs and symptoms to look out for, and how we can shift our language around food and bodies to better support those around us who live with disordered eating. Using didactic lectures, collaborative discussion, and experiential exercises, participants will learn how to approach disordered eating with an informed and compassionate lens. This training is open for all people at all levels of experience! If you work with people in a clinical or medical capacity, are a parent, or just want to learn more about eating disorders, you are welcome to attend! (CEUs are available for counselors and social workers)
