Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group, Mondays from 6pm-7pm, beginning March 11th. Group topics will be skills based and will cover mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. The cost of the group is $30 per session.
DBT can help clients with managing intense emotions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, substance abuse, impulsivity, and many other problematic behaviors. The goal of DBT is to help clients build a life worth living.
This group will be led by Jannie Cole, MS, LAC, and Becca Phillips, counseling intern. Jannie is a licensed associate counselor with experience in a variety of treatment settings. In addition to private work, Jannie leads a nationally ranked outpatient program, which also utilizes a DBT model. Her combined use of person centered, cognitive, and dialectical behavior therapies help clients with developing tangible skills to facilitate long term change.
