Jeannine King

Jeannine is a licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, earning her master's degree in Community Counseling from John Brown University, also receiving her training in Play Therapy. She has worked in the mental health field since 2009, working with children, adolescents, and adults, serving those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, adjustments, and behavioral issues. Jeannine has specialization in technology assisted counseling and specialized training in EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Jeanine is the clinical director for Waters Edge Counseling, providing our team of healthcare providers support and supervision, in efforts toward reaching organization goals as well as striving toward the highest standards of care for our clients. She believes that a key component in any successful counseling process is the relationship between the client and the therapist, collaborating together toward client's improved personal satisfaction in life.

On a personal note, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, listening to live music, playing with her grandson, and anything beachy.
