LCSW, RYT-200, TIYT
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Arkansas in 2014. I have experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice.
My therapeutic areas of focus include working with adults that struggle with adjusting to daily life stressors, family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, addiction, trauma, and relational issues. I am trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address distressing symptoms related to various mental health issues.
In addition to my clinical training and experience, I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) as well as a certified Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist (TIYT). With expertise in these modalities, I am capable of providing a specialized approach to traditional therapy in both individual and group settings. I have found great value in utilizing mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga techniques in my sessions to provide a more integrative approach for reducing symptoms of mental illness.
I am a high-energy person who loves to stay physically and socially active. In my free time, you can usually find me playing with my twin 4 year olds and my dog Pierogi, traveling, hiking, karaoking, cooking, eating, or planning my next National Park or beach trip.
